But now as a welcome back present from my game, the CC hair, it just won't work, AT ALL
I've tried all the techniques there are, but it is all phooey, and not working, I'm going to do the classic uninstall/re-install combo, and if nothing works then well I'm screwed :/

But what do you mean it won't work?
Umm, well it's kind of the dreaded hair become bald, or like a thin oddly shaped patch on the head. It's mainly been a mac problem that was fixed and then unfixed
This happens for me when I don't have the actual mesh for the hair. Like some people that retexture hair don't include the original mesh. So you'd have to download the retexture and then the original hair.
Does it happen to every single hair except EA ones though, and I uninstalled and tried to play sans update, and rien, it just crashed continuously, any clue how to only install up to a certain update?
I don't think it happens with every hair. Maybe it has to do with where you are putting your CC. What folder do you put things in.
And I don't know how to install up to a certain update.
I'm putting it in the my documents folder,, where it is supposed to go after patch 1.12, I even un-installed WA to see,
I'm going to google the install up to [...] thing I guess I took some screenshots of what is going on with the game yesterday and will post them later today I guess
Oh. Have you tried downloading some new hair and then put it in game without the CC you had before?
No I haven't, I think I'll try that idea sounds worth it, I really wish I could install up to a certain patch >.<
